Dr.-Ing. Heinz Tischer

Having first studied mathematics and economics at the University of Cologne, Dr-Ing. Heinz Tischer went on to study engineering at RWTH Aachen University, where he also did his doctoral degree. For several years he worked as research associate at the Kernforschungsanlage Jülich (Nuclear Research Facilities Jülich), with focus on the reprocessing of spent fuel elements. Thereafter he was project manager in the construction of large-scale plants.

He managed a business division and a company, whose foci were scientific-technical consulting and contract research.

From 1989 – 2004 he was chairman of the executive board of a company that under his management became a world-leader in the labelling industry and expanded its operations from a Central European to a global scope. The product range and service portfolio was adjusted to the new market conditions, so that the opening of new subsidiaries in Turkey, the Far East, as well as Central and South America could be realized.

For several years he was member of the board of directors of the employer's association in the textile and clothing industry, and of the employer's associations Wuppertal.
During his professional career he has always focused on the product and its benefits for the buyer. This frequently enabled him to achieve astonishing innovations on ordinary and highly specialized products. Therefore he personally conceived many products, product ideas, and processes, which is reflected in a number of patents, utility models, and patent applications.
Since 2004 he has been part owner of the art agency “LatinArt“ and sole owner of the “Dr.-Ing. Heinz Tischer wissenschaftlich- technisches Consulting”.
As member of the “Zoological Society for the Conservation of Species and Populations (in Munich)“ and of the advisory committee of the “Species Conservation Foundation” , he gets involved with the protection of endangered species especially in Central and South America. He is personally in charge of projects in Brazil, Cuba, and Zambia.
